Draft 2035 Wake Transit Plan

The 2035 Wake Transit Plan outlines Wake County’s 10-year (FY2026-2035) transit investment strategy. The plan guides how an estimated $3 billion will be invested to improve and expand our public transit system. The goal is is make it easier for people to travel to, through and within Wake County. Over the past year, we have heard from nearly 6,000 people through surveys, meetings, focus groups, social media campaigns and pop-up events. The result, is a clear and consistent priority to serve more people and more places through continued investment in local transit services, countywide connections and regional transit options. The planning team worked to draft a 10-year investment strategy that bakances these goals with available funding.
