FY26 Work Plan Amendment Cycle
FY26 Work Plan Amendment Cycle
Thank you for getting involved in the Wake Transit planning process.
During the fiscal year (July-June) Wake Transit project sponsors have the opportunity to request amendments to projects funded in previously adopted Wake Transit Work Plans or to add new projects to the current annual Work Plan.
Amendment requests are reviewed and recommended by the TPAC for approval of the Wake Transit governing boards; the CAMPO Executive Board and GoTriangle Board of Trustees.
The public has the opportunity to review and privide feedback on submitted amendment requests prior to final approval.
During the fiscal year, there may be a need for changes in the scope or budget for approved Wake Transit Work Plan projects, or there may be a need for projects to be added or removed from the Work Plan. These changes require and amendment to an adopted Work Plan. Adjustments to previously allocated projects are made to that previous year Work Plan. New projects are added to the current year's Work Plan.
Amendment Schedule:
There are three (3) amendment cycles scheduled to occur each fiscal year. The process timelines for each cycle begins on the amendment request submission deadline and concludes with governing board adoption.
2nd Quarter August - November
3rd Quarter November - February
4th Quarter February - May
Amendment Process Overview:
When an amendment to the current or a previous year Work Plan is needed, project sponsors complete and submit an amendment request form through the Wake Transit SharePoint site. The Work Plan Amendment Policy provides guidance for how amendment requests are received, considered, processed through the TPAC recommendation process and ultimately presented the the CAMPO and GoTriangle governing boards for adoption.
Previously adopted Work Plans with notations of approved amendments are posted on the Annual Work Plans webpage.
Reach out to the CAMPO Wake Transit team, waketransit@campo-nc.us, for any questions or assistance regarding the process.
Project Lead: Suvir Venkatesh (CAMPO)
CAMPO's Wake Transit staff collects, compiles and leads the TPAC review process for all amendment requests. Ultimately, the TPAC recommended changes are presented to the two Wake Transit governing boards, CAMPO Executive Board and GoTriangle Board of Trustees, for adoption.
